Re: gold hits 700
i remember at US600 thinking it has to fall, then at 640 saying if you buy now you wont get much more back - then at 680 thinking maybe i should just buy ten ounces - now at 700 im thinking it cant hit 750 --- history has proven me wrong.
its so hard to buy more gold after not paying more than US$400/oz for it. All the pawn shops and second hand dealers in sydney have caught on. im now resorting to overtime ie having to work for extra money. |
Re: gold hits 700
Is it just me or does US$600 gold feel like over a year ago? Yikes.

*BUMP THIS THREAD*
for the first time my view in retrospect was correct, and in writing. a rarity, but it happens occasionally. personally speaking i dont know who would have paid $700-$730 for gold...I consider myself a reasonably serious purchaser of gold bullion - and i couldnt think of buying it then - no matter how much i love it. (Actually it was too good to refuse selling some at $700 as it fairly obvious we would be able to buy it back cheaper). *That is, I sold it at $700 on the way down as it was falling so fast. |
Re: gold hits 700
So are you thinking of buying now or waiting a little longer?

Re: gold hits 700
I bought more gold and silver around $650.
My bank pays 3.5% on my account. Inflation is 7-12%/year. I'll take my chances in metal. |
